The idea for Stellarocco Designs began when designers Dina Paulos and her sister Kate set out to develop a line of wearable art products, which would look great, fit well and be made sweatshop free. Utilizing their backgrounds in fashion and art, the sisters began creating artwork for their women’s t-shirt label in 2003.

Named after Kate’s adorable dogs, Stella and Rocco, the company focuses on botanical, nature inspired designs without any word art or slogans. Designs are silk screened onto a variety of great fitting tees and tops from various suppliers.

Prior to opening Stellarocco in Northern CA, Dina has worked in various areas of the industry including merchandising, apparel sales and fashion forecasting. Her creations gravitate toward clean, modern, Japanese-influenced designs. Kate is an accomplished artist in both Los Angeles and Auckland and brings a bit of New Zealand style to the mix.
